The Sharjah Roads and Transportation Authority has received more than 22,000 requests to book a
taxi through automated paging devices since the beginning of 2022, as part of the smart services
provided by the authority in accordance with the highest quality standards, and ensures that
time and effort is shortened for taxi users in the Emirate of Sharjah.
His Excellency Eng. Yousef Khamis Al-Athmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transportation
Authority, assured that the services provided by the authority are in line with the directives
of the Government of Sharjah in keeping pace with artificial intelligence techniques, and
harnessing them to raise the efficiency of services and shorten the service request time to
reach the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
