Zayed Humanitarian Work Day …… March of goodness and giving

His Excellency Engineer Youssef Khamis Al-Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, said that Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, which coincides with 19th of Ramadan every year, embodies the march of half a century of giving, and a national occasion in which we remember the highest meanings of giving to the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who established with his ideas and humanitarian initiatives, the pillars of volunteer and charitable work, to record in the history a special humanitarian footprint bearing the name of Zayed of Goodness and Giving, and that the UAE would then become a symbol of goodness, human giving, tolerance and affection, and an example to be emulated in charitable and humanitarian work.

On this occasion, he indicated that the celebration of this day is a commemoration of the efforts of the founding leader and a retrospection of his good march known with generosity, spreading seeds of goodness, and raising the slogan of humanity and solidarity with needy people in all parts of the world.

He added that the late President reflected great initiatives to serve all humanity, and established with his ideas and humanitarian initiatives, the pillars of volunteer and charitable work, to record a special humanitarian footprint bearing the name of Zayed of Goodness and Giving, example of human attitudes and peace, and that the UAE would then become a symbol of goodness, giving, tolerance and affection, and an example to be emulated globally in charitable and humanitarian work.
