Sharjah Road lifts road efficiency during summer vacation

The Sharjah Road and Transportation Authority SRTA has announced the completion of the project to establish internal roads in the Umm fene. Ready to traffic costing 18.6 million dirhams.

SRTA has explained that the project is aimed to expand the infrastructure of the inland roads network. To serve the new areas In addition to develop the infrastructure of Umm fenen which has a bio-site located on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street.

This implementation to realizing the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi to provide Sharjah with a modern roads network, and build new routes to the current road network to increase traffic flow and facilitation of mobility for road users and vehicles.

According to the authority: The project involves the creation of a group of single internal roads consisting of walkways. With a total length of approximately 7.5 km with shoulders of 2,5 m on the two sides, and car entrances made from the intranet, with the construction of pedestrian walkways and parking spaces made up of the Intranet for a number of service facilities in the region, in addition to the work of accompanying services.
