Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority continues to implement its development projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the road network and improving traffic flow through the upgrade of Imran Bin Turaim Roundabout and Ahmed Bin Hadeed Roundabout, converting them into permanent signalized intersections.

Traffic diversions and partial closures at both roundabouts will commence on Sunday, 21 June 2026, as part of the Authority’s strategic plan to upgrade roundabouts across the Emirate and implement sustainable traffic solutions that help reduce congestion and improve road safety.

The project aims to improve intersection efficiency, facilitate vehicle movement, and enhance mobility within the area, keeping pace with increasing traffic demand and improving service levels across the road network.

The project forms part of a package of development initiatives being undertaken by the Authority to enhance infrastructure and improve the efficiency of the road network, supporting urban and economic growth and further enhancing quality of life in the Emirate of Sharjah.
