The Traffic Improvements Committee of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, in collaboration with the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, held its regular coordination meeting as part of ongoing efforts to monitor traffic developments and enhance the efficiency of the Emirate’s road network.

The meeting reviewed the most congested traffic locations and the underlying causes of traffic bottlenecks, while discussing proposed solutions to improve traffic flow and enhance road safety, contributing to more efficient mobility and improved services for road users.

The committee also discussed preparations for the upcoming academic year, including the traffic management measures required around schools during peak hours to ensure a safe traffic environment for students, parents, and all road users.

Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination and following up on the implementation of the proposed traffic solutions to enhance road safety and further improve traffic efficiency, supporting the Authority’s efforts to develop a safe and sustainable transport system across the Emirate.
