As part of its ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of the road network in the Emirate, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has implemented a traffic improvement project on Al Dhaid Road. The project included the addition of a new traffic lane in both directions, spanning a total length of 13.8 km, covering the areas from Intersection 3 to Intersection 5, and from Intersection 4 to Intersection 3. This aims to increase the road’s capacity and reduce traffic congestion. The project also involved modifications to several entry and exit points to improve traffic flow and enhance the overall experience for road users.
