Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority Announces Partial Closure of Martyr Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Huwaiden Street in Al Dhaid as Part of Infrastructure Development Works

Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced a temporary partial closure of a section of Martyr Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Huwaiden Street in Al Dhaid City as part of ongoing infrastructure development works aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the road network and improving traffic flow in the area.

The road closure and traffic diversion will be implemented starting on Friday, 19 June 2026, and will continue until Sunday, 16 August 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes illustrated in the attached traffic plan. The road will be reopened to traffic on Monday, 17 August 2026.

This measure forms part of the Authority’s continuous efforts to upgrade road infrastructure and improve the efficiency of the transport network, contributing to enhanced road safety and supporting the development and urban expansion taking place in Al Dhaid City.

The Authority urges road users to adhere to the approved traffic diversions, use the designated alternative routes, and follow directional signage and traffic safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow throughout the implementation period.
