Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced a temporary traffic diversion on Al Khan Road as part of the ongoing road development, expansion, and bridge construction works aimed at enhancing traffic flow and upgrading infrastructure across the Emirate of Sharjah.

The traffic diversion will take effect on Friday, 22 May 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes illustrated in the attached traffic plan.

This measure forms part of the Authority’s continuous efforts to develop the road network and implement strategic infrastructure projects that improve mobility efficiency and accommodate growing traffic demand.

The Authority urges road users to adhere to the approved traffic diversions, use alternative routes, and follow traffic safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow throughout the implementation period.
