Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has completed the internal road development and paving project at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of the road network surrounding key facilities, contributing to improved traffic movement and providing an integrated environment for visitors and facility users.

The project included the construction of a 7.4-kilometre road network, the development of 1,058 parking spaces for light vehicles, the allocation of 44 parking spaces for trucks, and the maintenance and rehabilitation of asphalt pavement layers covering an area of 9,789 square metres, in accordance with the highest engineering and technical standards.

This project forms part of the Authority’s ongoing plan to upgrade road infrastructure across the Emirate, supporting sustainable development, enhancing quality of life, and providing advanced infrastructure that meets the needs of vital facilities while keeping pace with Sharjah’s urban growth.
