Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has completed road development and maintenance works between Al Jazzat and Al Hazana as part of its preparations for the new academic year and its ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure, enhance road network efficiency, and improve traffic flow across the Emirate.

The works included the development and maintenance of asphalt pavement layers along the entire road in both directions, as well as the repainting and renewal of road markings, contributing to improved road efficiency and enhanced traffic safety.

Works along the Al Jazzat side extended for 785 metres, covering a total area of approximately 7,000 square metres, while works along the Al Hazana side extended for 730 metres, covering approximately 6,500 square metres.

The completion of these works forms part of the Authority’s ongoing road maintenance and development plan, aimed at improving traffic flow, enhancing road user safety, and providing safer and more efficient infrastructure that meets mobility needs across the Emirate of Sharjah.
