As part of the GCC Traffic Week activities, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority participated in a traffic dialogue session. Dr. Eng. Mohsen Ali Balwan, Director of the Traffic Engineering Department at the Authority, presented a working paper highlighting the importance of partnership between the Authority and the Sharjah Police General Headquarters in enhancing traffic flow and ensuring road safety. During his presentation, he emphasized that road safety is a shared responsibility that lies with both individuals and institutions. He also noted the Authority’s ongoing efforts to maintain a balanced approach to safety, smooth mobility, and sustainability within the road network across the Emirate of Sharjah.
