H.E. Eng. Yousif Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, stated during an intervention on the “Direct Line” program that, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, approximately 90% of the main corridors in the industrial and commercial areas of the Emirate have been completed.

He noted that these projects form part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to develop the road network and enhance infrastructure efficiency, contributing to improved traffic flow, supporting economic and urban development, and enhancing mobility across the Emirate.

He further emphasized that the Authority continues to implement its development plans through a comprehensive vision aimed at building an integrated road system that supports Sharjah’s rapid growth and enhances quality of life and sustainability.
