Sharjah Roads and Transport begins to apply the cancellation and deduction of fines
His Excellency Engineer Yousef Saleh Al-Suwaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport
Authority, has announced the starting of application the resolution related to cancel the fines
of the Roads and Transport Authority issued before the year 2015, and resolution to discount 50%
on fines issued by the Authority from 01/01/2020 until the end of the year for the fines issued
before 01/11/2020, in application of the generous directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan
bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up and
approval of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy
Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, for the second package of Sharjah
government incentives in order to support the government and special authorities and business
sectors in various fields in light of the ongoing Corona pandemic.
His Excellency valued the second package of incentives and facilities contributing to mitigate
the severity of economic and social effects resulting from the continuity of the pandemic,
enhancing the business continuity in various fields and providing a suitable work environment
for all investors in application of the vision of His Highness relating to support investment
and economy in the Emirate, and his confirmation that the Emirate and its government is able to
continue the process of comprehensive development and overcome all obstacles.
Al Suwahiji extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Doctor Sultan Bin
Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, May God Bless him, for the
package of incentives and all procedures supporting the continuation of comprehensive
development. Also, Al Suwahiji extended his thanks and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh
Sultan Bin Muhammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the
Executive Council for his closely follow up for the implementation of the package of procedures
and resolutions supporting the work and investment sector in the government of Sharjah and for
his continuous efforts to provide comfort to nationals and residents on the land of the Emirate.
His Excellency declared that the Authority has provided different payment channels to benefit
from the cancellation or discount resolution in order to facilitate the payment process. The
payment methods have been provided through the official website of the Sharjah Roads and
Transport Authority, Headquarters in Al Azra Area, Authority's Office in Kalba and Khor Fakkan.
His Excellency calls everyone to benefit of the discount resolution that will end on 31.12.2020.
